A classic sixties set from the rare Webe label. Webe pieces are very well made and had a refined chicness about them! The dress is a waistless shift with rounded, almost sculpted shoulders. The seaming on it is all highlighted by a row of stitching down one side. This subtle little detail really adds to the richness of the piece. The coat has this same design touch. It is cut to skim over the sleeveless sheath without creating a lot of bulk. Hidden pockets make is practical and the little back belt on both pieces is a pretty design element. Very well made and in excellent condition

Both pieces are fully lined in a brown silky rayon that is hand set. The dress closes with a hand set, back painted metal zipper. The coat buttons to close and has pockets hidden along the sides. There is a slight suggestion of over pressing down the front of the coat but it is only noticeable in certain lights.. Very well made and both pieces are of a good solid weight but do not feel cumbersome when on.
